Wesam Alagil

A Chief Audit Executive with over 16 years of experience in audit, information technology, and business process controls, who embraces the power of digital technology to strengthen governance and enhance operational efficiency with international experience across Saudi Arabia, the US, and the UK.

As Aramco Americas Chief Auditor, Alagil provides assurance to senior management and the Board Audit Committee on the effectiveness of governance, risk management, and internal controls. She is committed to upholding the highest standards of audit practice, following the Institute of Internal Auditors’ guidelines and best practices.  

Alagil previously held several leadership roles at Saudi Aramco, including serving as Chief Audit Executive at Aramco Digital Company. Alagil holds an MBA in Finance from Willamette University and a B.S. in Computer Science from Imam Abdulrahman Bin Faisal University. She is a Certified Fraud Examiner. As part of continuing education, Alagil has completed the Data Science for Executive Program from London School of Economics and several Harvard Executive Leadership Programs.

Outside of work, Alagil enjoys traveling the world and is currently learning Mandarin, reflecting her passion for adventure and exploration
