Monetize digitalization in fuels business.
Mitib A. Al-Harbi has been appointed Vice President of Fuel Business Management, effective March 1, 2024. In this role, he will oversee Aramco’s global downstream joint ventures and affiliates. Prior to this, he was President of Aramco Asia, where he led Aramco’s business interests in the Asia Pacific region.
Al-Harbi also served as Representative Director of Aramco Korea from 2020 to 2023. Earlier, he managed Aramco’s domestic joint ventures and held leadership roles at Motiva Enterprises LLC in the U.S., where he was awarded the Motiva CEO Award for Superior Excellence.
Al-Harbi’s career began in 2000 as a process engineer at the Ras Tanura Refinery after graduating from King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals with a B.S. in chemical engineering. His experience spans global leadership, operational expertise, and business development, making him a key figure in Aramco’s continued success.
