Successful execution is accomplished in transitioning SPII Operations from New York to ASC, Houston. The process presented highly unique challenges that required careful planning along with timely strategic decision making ensuring a smooth transfer of responsibilities and maintaining operational continuity without disruptions.

Hanan AlOlayan has an extensive work experience in the energy industry, primarily with Saudi Aramco and Aramco Trading Company (ATC). Currently she is CEO & President of SPII and the Director, Marketing at Aramco Americas in Houston. Ms. Hanan joined Saudi Aramco in 1996; holds an MBA degree from Hull University.

She spent the last eleven years in the downstream business line. Between 2012 and 2017, she has played a key role in the development of Aramco Trading Company (ATC) from early startup to a world class Trading house, she held various roles across the company including Front, Middle and back office. Exposed to Naphtha trading, Gasoline Blending, Commodity Derivatives Trade execution, Trade Confirmation, and Operations. In 2017,

She was appointed the Head of Operations in Crude Oil Sales & Marketing, where she led Saudi Aramco’s International Cude oil sales operations and allocation around the globe. Four years later, Ms. Hanan assigned as Operations Manager at Saudi Petroleum International Inc (SPII) in New York. Ms. Hanan holds a master in Business Administration and completed several leadership courses, including the Stanford Executive leadership Program.
