Erik Anderson is a global innovation leader, investor, and philanthropist.He is the Founder and CEO of WestRiver Group, an investment platform focused on the global innovation economy. Anderson has been honored with the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award, named one of Goldman Sachs’ Top 100 Most Intriguing Entrepreneurs, and received the Transformative CEO Award by The CEO Forum Group.
He serves as CEO of DCRB+ SPACs, targeting companies with solutions to decarbonize the global economy, and is on the Board of Hyzon Motors Inc. Anderson became Vice Chairman of Callaway Golf Company in March 2021 and previously led Topgolf Entertainment Group as Executive Chairman, making it a leading sports and entertainment brand.
In 2020, he joined Silicon Valley Bank as Executive Chairman of the SVB Capital Credit Platform. He also serves as Executive Chairman of Singularity Group, Vice Chairman of ONEHOPE, and Co-Chairman of TOCA. Anderson founded America’s Foundation for Chess, reaching 160,000 children with its First Move curriculum, served on the Board of Play Magnus, and the Board of Avista Corp.His extensive investment experience includes roles at Frazier Healthcare Partners, Matthew G. Norton Co., and Goldman, Sachs & Co.
Anderson holds a master’s and bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from Stanford University and graduated cum laude in Management Engineering from Claremont McKenna College.
