Ammar Mubarak is the Procurement & Supply Chain Management Director of Aramco Americas. Over the last three decades, Ammar has been a key leader, collaborator, and contributor to Aramco’s success. Ammar’s contributions span management and leadership roles in Procurement and Supply Chain. His expertise has helped drive innovation and excellence in multiple areas in support of Aramco's operations.
Before joining Aramco Americas, Ammar managed procurement activities for Aramco’s Upstream and Downstream operations, skillfully negotiating complex projects with suppliers, and helping ensure Aramco maintained its competitive edge. In his current role, Ammar has advanced global supply chain strategies across the Americas, contributing to efforts in Argentina and Brazil, among other regions. Under his leadership, his team has been instrumental in sourcing and qualifying dozens of manufacturing facilities, driving localization investments in Saudi, and providing seamless logistical support to customers in Kingdom.
One of Ammar’s most recent homeruns has been his work with Aramco Americas’ new SPEED Contracting Taskforce. With the help of his team, this initiative optimized internal operations— streamlining procedures and improving contract efficiency to better serve Aramco’s partners and advance business goals.
Ammar earned his Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Hartford in Connecticut.
