Ali Al-Meshari

As head of Technology Oversight and Coordination, Al-Meshari oversees a diverse portfolio of technologies and the Company’s Global Research Network across America, Europe, and Asia, to develop game-changing technologies. Through the oversight of technology development activities, Al-Meshari leads the development of the Company’s R&D efforts to support the Company’s efforts to decarbonize operations, enhance the commercialization of the hydrocarbon value chain, pursue lower carbon products and solutions, and to foster a flourishing R&D ecosystem through localization.

In addition to the oversight of the Company’s Technology development activities, Al-Meshari is responsible for the development of the Company’s long-term Technology Strategy and Outlooks Reports to support steering of the strategic direction of the Company’s R&D investment activities, whilst also overseeing the Company’s multi-billion-dollar Corporate Venture Capital arm, responsible for Global and Domestic investment activities in sustainability, diversified growth and energy related investment areas.
