Ahmed Alkhunaini

Ahmed M. Alkhunaini is the Senior Vice President of Sales and Supply Planning. In this position, he oversees Saudi Aramco’s global sales of crude oil and liquefied petroleum gas, along with its hydrocarbon supply planning network and domestic sales of refined products and feedstock.  Prior to his current role, he was the President and CEO of Aramco Overseas Company (AOC), responsible for Saudi Aramco interests in Europe and the sole shareholder of its investments worldwide.

With over 35 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, Mr. Alkhunaini has been serving Saudi Aramco’s downstream enterprise in a number of high-profile leadership positions both at its corporate headquarters in Dhahran and its affiliates across the globe. He also serves as the Chairman of the Board of Aramco Fuels Poland and Aramco Overseas UK, along with a number of board positions including Aramco Trading Company, Bahri among others.

Mr. Alkhunaini holds a B.S. degree in Industrial Engineering from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals and has completed a number of executive leadership courses including the Columbia Senior Executive Program.
